In an anti-drug operation carried out southwest of San Carlos, special aeronaval forces managed to confiscate 1,117 drug packages belonging to organized crime. The event took place in that specific geographical area.
During the operation, three Panamanian citizens and one Colombian citizen were captured. All detainees were made available to the competent authorities for the corresponding legal proceedings.
One of the officers in charge of the operation declared: "This important seizure is the result of the hard work and dedication of our special forces. We remain committed to combating drug trafficking and dismantling the criminal organizations trying to operate in our region."
The operation succeeded in removing a significant amount of drugs from circulation, representing a strong blow against illicit activities related to drug trafficking in the mentioned area.
